Gayle Ellen Anderson

Anderson, Gayle Ellen (Wirtz) 62, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2014 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Gayle was preceded in death by her mother Marie Wirtz (Hauwiller) and father Herbert Wirtz. She is survived by husband Robert Clough, stepson Maxwell Clough, sister Rose (Ron) Hilk, brother Tom (Diane) Wirtz, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She attended Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School in Mound, MN and graduated from Mound High School in 1970 and attended the U of M. She worked at NSP (Excel Energy) and also for Educators Financial Services and Met Life retiring in 2005. Gayle was passionate about sailing, golf, friends, family and her dogs, especially Reusse the bulldog. A memorial service will take place at 2pm on September 22, 2014 at the Cremation Society of MN-Mpls Chapel, 4343 Nicollet Ave S. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the family.
