Thyra E. Nilsson

Nilsson Thyra E., age 79, of Burnsville, died in her home on March 11. Born in Bunzlau, Germany, Thyra immigrated in 1953 to the U.S. where she became a citizen. Preceded in death by parents & 1 sister. Survived by brother, Karl-Heinz Nilsson (Carole) of Owatonna and nephews, Michael, Karl Nilsson Jr. of Mpls & 3 great-nephews. Thyra worked for many years as an internal auditor for AAA of MN where she cherished many friendships. After her retirement, she cared for her mother, Anna Nilsson, for many years. Thyra will be remembered by family & friends as a generous & loyal care-giver. Memorial service Sat., April 12, 11 am at Mt.Olive Lutheran Church, Chicago Ave & 31st St., Mpls.
