John W. Leykom

Leykom John W. Leykom, age 83, of Mpls, died March 19, 2003. Raised in Hudson, WI. President, Hudson H.S. Class of 1938. Married Ann LeFeber in June 1943. As a Navy Lieutenant, commanded first squadron of LCT's to land at Utah Beach, Normandy on D-Day, 1944. Worked at Brown & Bigelow for 20 years, then became an independent publisher for The Lutheran Journal. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Ann; children, Barbara (John) Roecker, Mary (Jerry Stroebele) Leykom, Chris Leykom; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson; other relatives and friends.
