Nelson JoAnn J., age 66, of Rush City, formerly of Blaine, lost her 10-year battle with cancer on March 3, 2002. Longtime employee of Office and Professional Union Local #12 and a former member of Meat and Grocery Union #789. Preceded in death by daughter, Debra Ann. Survived by devoted husband of 48 years, Thomas W.; children, Patricia Ann Nelson and Cynthia Marie Cavalier (Duane); five grandchildren, Patrice Nelson, Robert, Jacqueline, Melissa and Suzanne Cavalier.
