Johnson Pauline D. "Polly" Johnson of Coon Rapids. Born 6/13/25 in Orfordville, NH. Survived by loving family: husband of 57 years, William "Bill"; son, Bill Jr. (Jane); daughter, Jill (Tim) Swanson; granddaughters, Noreen and Laura Johnson; grandsons, Doug and Dan Swanson. Polly & Bill married at the close of WWII and lived in New York on Long Island for 15 years; moved to Coon Rapids, MN in 1965. Polly served as Cub Scout den mother and Girl Scout leader for several years. She loved camping and the out-of-doors. Polly completed her teaching degree at the U of M and taught English at many grades, including ALC, before pioneering middle school at Sandburg, Anoka. After retiring, Polly & husband Bill started BLIP Productions, an educational materials company for elementary grades. They traveled the world and enjoyed every minute of life and love of family. Funeral service 11 am Monday at the Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd., Coon Rapids. Visitation one hour prior to service. Private interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
