Dorothy Berna

Berna Dorothy, age 96, of Mpls. Preceded in death by husband, Vincent Berna; brother, Victor Gruman and sister, Ida Meyers. Survived by loving nieces and nephews, Shelly & Howard Reichert, Bobbi Jo Gruman, Larry & Evelyne Gruman and Judy & Eddie Kaplan. Also survived by loving great nieces and nephews, Lynn & John Meyers, Trudy & Marcos Lopez, Dede Frederick, Wendy & Andy Goltzman, Hugh Reichert, Jennifer, Camille, Sarah and Deborah Gruman, Heather and Stephen Kaplan; great-great-nieces, Carly Frederick, Alyssa and Janie Goltzman; and many other loving relatives in New York. Dorothy was known as the "Candy Lady" to all the neighborhood children on Princeton Avenue who came to her door daily. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the "angels" at Solbakken, who cared for her in her final days. Dorothy was a loving and caring aunt to her many nieces and nephews, and she will always be in our hearts. Funeral services THURSDAY, 12 NOON, MPLS JEWISH CEMETERY CHAPEL, 70 1/2 & Penn Ave S., Richfield. Memorials are preferred to the donor's favorite charity. Arr. with Hodroff & Sons.
