Rose Lano

Lano Rose, age 90, of Mpls., passed away March 17, 2003. Survived by husband of 67 years, Karl; son, Karl J. (Cathy) of Salt Lake City; daughter, Diana Barsness of Prior Lake; grandchildren, Daniel (Ava) Barsness of Victoria & Sarah (Gary) Prentice of Brighton, England; great-grandchildren, Jenna & Megan Rose Barsness; brother, Clarence Zegland; sister, Jean Brombach; other relatives and friends. She was a 55 year member of the Church of St. Helena. Rose will be remembered for her joy in simple things. From her daily prayers for our safety, health, and success to her light-hearted playful interactions, she supported us in many ways. She always provided a comforting family from which to draw encouragement. Her generosity was demonstrated through meals, gifts and her annual Christmas cookie ritual. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. HELENA, 3201 E. 43rd St. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
