Harlan C. Krone

Krone Harlan Charles ``Sam'', age 85, of Brainerd, formerly of Crystal, passed away peacefully in his sleep March 3, 2002. Preceded in death by his beloved son, Harlan Charles Krone, Jr. ``Lonnie'' and his parents, Ernest & Emma and brothers, Lloyd & Leroy. Survived by his loving family: wife, Lucille Swanson Krone; daughters, Carol (Jim) Granlund, Denise (John) Neznik; grandchildren, Scott (Chris) Granlund, Kelli (Jim) Wick, Jolie Granlund and Rodrigo, Kari (Ron) Cossette, Kami (Stan) Miskiw and Kole Neznik; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Joe Wick, Ryan and Kyle Granlund, and Isabelle Estrada; sisters, Iolene Uzzell, Lila (Ralph) Varner, Verneal (Hank) Klersey; many nephews, nieces and friends. Sam was a member and business agent of the Pipefitters Local #539, a Sergeant of Arms of St. Louis Park Gun Club and a member of Faith-Lilac Way. Sam loved to hunt, fish and garden. He will always be remembered as someone who cherished being alive. Sam always had plans to go places and do things. He will be deeply missed. Funeral service 7 pm, Friday, March 8 at the Washburn-McReavy DuSchane Chapel, 4239 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale with visitation two hour prior to service.
