Gates, Patti Lee was called home at age 66. She will be joining her parents in Heaven. She served her country as a Navy WAVE and served her community as a Master Gardener. Her contagious laughter, excellent cooking and enthusiastic dancing will be missed by her loving husband, Bretton; children, Marcy (Chris), Misty, Mercy (Mark); grandchildren, Steven, Katherine, Edric; sister, Pauline; brothers, Charles, Robert; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Funeral Service, 11 AM Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Oak Hill Baptist Church, 4141 University Ave NE Columbia Heights, 763-789-4337 with Visitation starting at 10 AM.
