Rev. Shepsel Roberts

Roberts Rev. Shepsel, age 89, of St. Louis Park. Rev. Roberts was a Mohel performing ritual circumcisions on over 10,000 Jewish boys. He was one of the founders of the Torah Academy. He is preceded in death by wife, Tiba; daughter, Guita Mae Borenstein; brother, Nate Roberts and sisters, Dorothy "Tyble" Rubinger, Celia Friedman. Survived by daughter & son-in-law, Debra and Henry Weinberg; sons & daughters- in-law, Hillel & Helene Roberts, Jay & Chani Roberts; son-in-law, Larry Borenstein; brother-in-law, Al Rubinger; sister-in-law, Claire Roberts; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the United Hebrew Brotherhood Cemetery Chapel. Memorials are preferred to the Shepsel & Tiba Roberts Scholarship Fund at the Torah Academy.
