Floyd K. Bennett

Bennett Floyd K., 86, died at his home in Heather Hills Retirement Center in Grand Rapids, MI. He is survived by son, Michael & daughter-in-law, Jan of Grand Rapids, and grandchildren, Jay Floyd Bennett & Peggy Alice Bennett, both of Chicago, IL. An Army Air Corps pilot during WWII and longtime executive with The Prudential Insurance Co., Floyd moved to Grand Rapids in Oct. of 2002 to be near his son & daughter-in-law. A private family remembrance will be held and memorials are suggested to either the Grand Rapids Symphony, 169 Louis Campau Promenade, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 or Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, 7495 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
