Bondhus Jean Bondhus, age 79, died March 4, 2003. Formerly of Big Lake, Farmington, Monticello and Minneapolis, Jean was preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph (Borg), Russell (Jean), and Lyle Thorp, her sister Marge Hoss, and 2 grandchildren. Tom, her loving husband, died in 1982. Jean is survived by her brothers Donald, Stanley (Bud), and Willard Thorp, all thirteen of her children and their spouses, 59 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. Her children are John (Mary Kay, ex. Joan), Barry (Linda), Judy (Terrance) Wood, Roger (Catherine, ex. Debbie), Milton (Joan), Alan (Pamiezia, ex. Kathleen), Keith (Diane), Michael (Teresa), Dennis (Robin), George (Timbery), Eric (Katie), Carl (Nancy), and Tony (Nadya). They are all living in Minnesota. She was a Pro-Life Activist and Selective Service Reformist. She had a strong belief in God and family and often took complete strangers into her life and helped them rebuild their lives. Her passions included writing poetry and books, gardening, playing the piano, and studying the Bible. A memorial will be held for her at the Monticello Community Center, 505 Walnut St. Sunday, March 16th, 2 PM.
