Engelstad Mark A. Graveside rites with military honors for Master Sgt. (ret.) Mark A. Engelstad, 56, will be held at 10 AM, Wed., June 2 at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Nature Conservancy (Black Hills and Wyoming Chapter) or Hospice of the Black Hills. Mark was born June 10, 1947, in Williston, ND, eldest child of the Rev. Milo and Ruth (Rorem) Engelstad. He grew up in Bloomington, MN where his father established Christ the King Lutheran Church. Mark is survived by his wife, Louise, of Rapid City; his parents of Bloomington, MN; his sister, Marcia Ehorn of Eden Prairie; his brother, the Rev. David Engelstad of Minnetonka, and his sister, Laurie Correll of Bloomington. Oshheim-Catron Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
