Kaufman Pamela Jean, age 52. Born July 31, 1950. Died March 6, 2003 quietly in her sleep after a long battle with Ovarian Cancer. Survived by partner, Renee Sugrue; sisters, Kathleen McQuaid (Jeffrey Burnham) of Williamsport, PA, Penelope (Tom) Harwick of Lansdale, PA; niece and nephew, Amy and Christopher Harwick; her beloved dog, Yosemite; her supportive community from the Women's Cancer Resource Center and a wealth of friends. Pam earned a Master of Science degree from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire and was employed by the University of Minnesota. Pam's passions were the state of New Hampshire, cafe mochas, hiking, bicycling, electronics, theatre, music and creating a living space on her property in the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas. An informal memorial service will be held TODAY, March 9, at the Mayday Cafe, 3440 Bloomington Ave S at 3 pm.
