LaBerge, Patricia Louise 85, most recently of St. Louis Park, Aug. 18. Beloved sister, aunt and friend. Pat was proud to be the first girl messenger as a teenager for what was then Dorsey Colman Barker Scott & Barber Law Firm (later Dorsey Whitney), then a legal secretary there. She later joined General Mills in 1955 as a legal secretary. She worked there for 30 years. Her talents and social abilities allowed her to rise to become the first woman assistant to the Chairman of the Board/Chief Executive of General Mills. Pat cared deeply for her family, and was something of the "glue" of a large extended family. Her kindness to all, and generosity to many charitable causes, will be greatly missed. Pat loved traveling, art, reading, the Minnesota Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, walks at the Arboretum and Lake Harriet. She was devoted to all of her siblings, but especially to her sister Shirley, and they lived in the same buildings for more than two decades. Preceded in death by her parents, Armand and Pearl LaBerge; sisters, Mary (May) Ohnstein, Annette Mattoon, Jane Cotter and Shirley Tollefson. Survived by brother, Armand LaBerge, many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to TowerLight Memory Care and Fairview Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Alzheimer's Associ-ation, Fairview Hospice or donor's choice. Pat and Shirley already have memorial benches at the Ar-boretum adjoining each other, with hope that their spirits may walk together in beauty. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 11 AM at the Church of St. Richard, 7540 Penn Ave. So. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Friday 1 hour prior to Mass at church only.
