Theisen, Robert P., Sr. "Bob" age 84 of New Hope, passed away on August 18, 2014 with his family surrounding him. Bob was born in Minneapolis and attended St. Thomas Academy. Former co-owner of Theisen's Markets. North Mpls Lions member for many years, Knights of Columbus member. Survived by wife of 64 years, Frances (Hagemann); sons, Robert Jr. (Janet) and Michael (Pamela); daughters, Jean (Douglas) Schatz, Mary Nielsen, Patricia (Richard) Scholl; son-in-law, Craig Hershberger; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; sisters, Norma (Arthur) Swanson and Beatrice Springob. Preceded in death by son, Mark; daughter, Diane Hershberger; son-in-law, Arthur Nielsen; parents, John L. Theisen Sr. and Marion A. (Groschen) Theisen; brother, John L. Jr; father-in-law, Joseph C. Hagemann; and mother-in-law, Theresa (Schwab) Hagemann. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday at the Church of St. Alphonsus, 7025 Halifax Ave N., Brooklyn Center.
