Judith Tesch

Tesch (Stevens) Judith Katherine Jennings Stevens Tesch. Born 11/17/39 in Le Mars, Iowa, died peacefully at home 3/6/03. Baptized at St. John's Lutheran, Akron, Iowa. Confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, MN. Reaffirmed Baptism at Grace Church, Sept. 23, 2001. Attended grade school in Le Mars, IA, finished grade school in Mpls. Attended Jefferson Junior High and West Senior High School in Mpls, graduated 1958. Attended the U of MN graduating as a Certified Medical Lab Tech Degree in 1959. Worked at many medical centers in the area over her life including Metropolitan Medical Center, Doctors Diagnostic Center, War Memorial Blood Center, and Park Nicollet Medical Center. After retiring from the medical field, she worked at Carlson Co., North West Eye Clinic, Travelers Express, and Jim Almstead's Super Valu. Married Paul E. Stevens, 2/14/59 in Salem Lutheran Church, Mpls. They were married 25 years and lived in St. Louis Park, MN. She is survived by her mother, Florence (Jelken) Jennings of Richfield, MN; sisters, La Vonne (Norville) Luebke of Mayer, MN, La Nae (Jim) Elliott of Richfield, MN; children, Jeff (Bev) Stevens of Corcoran, MN, Jackie (Eric) Lincoln of Rockford, MN, Jane Stevens and Joel Stevens of St. Louis Park; grandchildren, Kristin, Kaleb, Justin, Ashley, Nicholas, Samantha Stevens, Sarah and Annie Lincoln. Also survived by brother and sister-in-law, John (Bev) Stevens of Lake Forest, IL, and sister-in-law, Doris Mohr of St. Paul, MN. After Paul's death in 1984, she married Gerald Wayne Tesch on 8/22/92. Gerald has 2 daughters, Cindy (Jim) Senftner, children Kristen and Cathy of Fridley, MN; Linda (David) Schrupp, children Teresa and Michael of Rogers, MN; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father, William A. Jennings and first husband, Paul E. Stevens. Funeral Monday, 10 AM at Grace Church, 9301 Eden Prairie Rd., Eden Prairie. Interment Fort Snelling. Visitation Sunday 3 to 6 PM at Gearty-Delmore Park Chapel, Excelsior Blvd at Wooddale Ave S., St. Louis Park, and also one hour prior to service at church. Gearty-Delmore 952-926-1615
