Robert White Reid

Reid Robert White Reid, 92, of New Brighton, died peacefully on Sunday, Feb 23. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland on Aug. 9, 1910. Retired engineer of Honeywell Aerospace. Dad will be remembered for his energy and enthusiasm for life, his love of ideas and his strong belief in education. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, NE Masonic Lodge 345, Scottish Rite, Sr. Tennis Club and Kiwanis. He stayed active in his long retirement traveling, golfing, bike riding, working out at the gym and continued to be an avid reader until the end. Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Penrose Reid. Memorial service 11:00 am Friday, Feb. 28, at Sunset Funeral Chapel, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd, NE, Minneapolis, with visitation 1/2 hour prior to service. SUNSET (612) 789-1535
