Johnson Edward L. Johnson, age 83, of Edina. Preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Erthel. Survived by son, Edward E. Johnson & wife Barbara and their children Edward R. and Julianne; daughters, Carol Nelson & husband Mark and their children Matthew and Amy; Joanie McNamee & husband John and their children Michelle and Kelly; brother, Danford & wife Olga; sister, Florence Schmidt (Tom); nieces and nephews. Edward was a founding member of Normandale Lutheran Church and Sales Manager for John Deere Co. for 36 years. Service 1 pm Wednesday, Normandale Lutheran Church, 6100 Normandale Road, Edina. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation 5:30-8 pm Tuesday at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, W. 50th St. & Vernon Ave at Hwy 100, and one hour before service at church.
