Evelyn Bruland

Evelyn Bruland (Twedt), of Robbinsdale. Survived by 2 sons, Philip, Warren & friend John; daughter, Joan Bruland of Berkeley, CA; grandchildren, Jack, Kelly, Matthew and Brian McCormack, all of CA; and sister, Dorothy Anderson of Mukilteo, WA. Born Feb. 14, 1919 in Columbia Heights. Graduate of Edison High School, Class of January 1937. She attended the University of MN and graduated from the Swedish Hospital School of Medical Technology. Evelyn had an adventurous spirit and traveled extensively including a trip to the Arctic Circle with her sister in May 1999 aboard the Hurtigruten. Funeral service Friday (TODAY), 1 pm, with visitation one hour prior at Peterson-Stohlberg Hillside Chapel, Hwy 88 & 19th Ave NE. Burial Hillside Cemetery.
