Johanna J. Haberland

Haberland Johanna J. (Heubach), age 88, of New Hope, died peacefully Feb. 20, at St. Therese Nursing Home where she lived since Apr. 1999. Born Sept. 19, 1913 in Enschede, Holland. Johanna is the last of the Heubach family who immigrated to America Dec. 1915. She traveled with her mother, Minna and her sister, Henrietta to join her father, John living in N. Mpls. She married her husband, Raymond Jul. 15, 1939 in a double wedding alongside her sister and Walter J. Vosika. Preceded in death by parents; sister; husband; and brothr-in-law. Survived by 3 generations of nieces & nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Mon. 2 PM, with visitation beginning 1 PM at the Church of St. Alphonsus, 7025 Halifax Ave N., Brooklyn Center. Interment of ashes will be alongside her husband at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA. Our sincere thanks to the staff of St. Therese for the kindness and compassion they showed to Johanna from the day she arrived until the moment of her death. You are all truly angels of the Lord.
