Lange Thelma Shirk Lange, 97, formerly of Chaska, MN, passed away quietly early Sunday morning, 10 February 2002 at the Minnesota Masonic Home in Bloomington, MN. Thelma is survived by her loving son, Jon R. Lange and his wife Sin Kim Lange, and grandson, Jon-Andrew Chul Lange of Chicago, IL; step-son, Fred Hunter Lange and his wife Kiyo Lange of Phoenix, AZ; sisters-in-law, Emma Anna Lange of Kenmore, NY, Mary Page of Sioux Falls, SD; daughters-in-law, Young Kim and her husband Poong Kim of Apple Valley, MN, Marjorie A. Lange of Bloomington, MN; beloved grandchildren, Jon-Andrew Chul Lange, Steven William Lange, Dae Hyun (Danni) Kim, Eun Gyun (Ann) Kim, Sun Gyun (Suzie) Kim, Christy Anne Otto, Katherine Lange Bennett, Anna Margaret Meyer, Linda Kaye Lange; beloved great-grandchildren, Curtis Otto, Jared Otto, Christopher Otto, Jason Bennett, Stacy Lange Bennett; and beloved nephews and nieces, Judge T. Edward Page and his partner Kevin Swanson of Crowne Point, IN, Ms. Pat Page & family, Edward C. Page & family, Daniel J. Page & family, Janet Adams & family. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, 21 February 2002 at 11:00 AM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Assembly Area #1. Memorials are requested to be sent to either the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital, Minneapolis, MN or the Minnesota Masonic Home, Bloomington, MN. Thelma will be lovingly remembered by all as a grand lady with a lot of understanding of the human condition and young despite her age.
