Norma Harris Schanfield

Schanfield Norma Harris, age 81, died peacefully Feb. 6 in Chelsea, MI. Her beloved husband, Maurice, and her daughter, Serene, preceded her in death. Her sister, Doris Harris and daughters, Jane Riches, Shelley Schanfield and Amy Schanfield survive her; along with family members, Larry Riches, Richard Simpson, Lloyd Stoolman and Catherine Swenson; grandchildren, Casey and Annie Simpson, Joshua and Jessie Stoolman. Born in Woodworth, ND, Norma raised her family in Excelsior, MN. She was a sterling example to her family and friends of commitment to her community, courage in the face of adversity, and determination to live life to its fullest. We will remember her always with the greatest affection and respect. Funeral service WEDNESDAY, 1 PM, HODROFF & SONS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 126 E.
