Young Veta J., age 71, of Blaine. Born June 30, 1931, passed away on February 15, 2003 after a brief struggle with cancer. Survived by loving husband of 47 years, Richard; children Patti (Rick) Phelps, Deb, Tim, Chris and her children Mindy, Cortney, Cole and Jeff; sisters Norma (Al) Yarrington, Oritha Smith and Charlotte (George) Girard, all from Wisconsin; nieces; nephews; grandnieces; grandnephews; sisters-in-law Peggy (Norm) Kopesky and Marilyn Young; best friends Pat and Elaine; many more relatives and friends. "God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not meant to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered ÔCome with Me.' With tearful eyes we watched her suffer, and saw her fade away, Although we loved her dearly we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best."
