Connor Omer W., was born in Milbank, SD, April 11, 1912, died peacefully February 13. He is survived by sons, Bob (Nan), Tom, John (Kelley) and daughter, Jean Curtis; also grandchildren, David (Kellie), Mark, Michael, Christine, Jennifer and Molly Connor and Becky Curtis. He was preceded in death by wife, Mary (Nell) Connor and daughter, Mary Clair. He is also survived by brother, Terrence (Mary) of Mineola, NY, and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. David McAlpine, caregivers John Dean, LeRoy Moseng, Catholic Eldercare Day Program, Good Shepherd Care Center, Woodwinds Health Campus and HealthEast Hospice Care. He touched many lives through his years as an elementary teacher in the St. Paul Public Schools. He enjoyed giving his time to his parish and other church activities such as the Twin Cities Catholic Chorale and St. Agnes Choir. Omer was a Past Grand Knight of Nazareth Council, Knights of Columbus and a 4th Degree Knight. He was also a proud member of the Sons of the Revolution. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10 am at the CHURCH OF THE HOLY CHILDHOOD, 1435 Midway Parkway, St. Paul. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation at Willwerscheid & Peters Mortuary, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, Thursday, 4-7 pm, with Knights of Columbus Prayer Service beginning at 6:30 pm, also at church 1/2 hour prior to Mass. 651-228-1006
