Adams Salisbury Adams, the former state legislator, passed away Sunday evening, March 21, in Redding, Connecticut, after a long and determined struggle with cancer. He was born on April 24, 1925, in Duluth, Minnesota, to Robert and Cherrill Adams. He lived in Wayzata and later in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Robert and Malcolm. He is survived by his wife, Jean of Wilson, WY; his children: Salisbury Adams (Boucie) of Chevy Chase, MD; David Adams (Courtenay) of Wilson, WY; Jennifer Knebel (Craig) of Darien, CT; and Dorothy Adams de Groot (Joop) of Redding, CT; and 11 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Brain Tumor Research Center, University of California at San Francisco, 400 Parnassus St., San Francisco, CA, 94143; or The Lawrenceville School, Box 6125, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648; or the Mayo Foundation, 200 1st St. SW, Rochester, MN 55902-9817. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM, Friday, April 23, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Duluth. There will also be a service in Jackson, WY in May.
