Filipczak Francis A. (Frank), Twin Cities musician, age 73, of Mendota Heights, on February 10, 2003. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen "Cupcake"; and parents, Roman and Frances. Survived by brothers, Joseph of Evansdale, IN, John (Myrna) of Grantsburg, WI; 8 nieces and nephews; 9 great-nieces and great-nephews; many cousins; aunt, Lorraine Pawlak. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Saturday at the Church of St. Peter, 1405 Hwy 13, Mendota. Visitation at the church one hour before Mass. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Past President of the former Polish White Eagle Insurance Fraternity, Past President of the Minnesota Fraternal Congress, leader of the Sanok Dixieland Jazz Band, member of the Minneapolis Post Office Band and St. Paul Postal Band.
