Layeux Joseph Robert Layeux, "Bob" went to be with Jesus on February 10, 2003 as his family & friends surrounded his bedside. He will be dearly missed by loving companion, Flo Reiswig who will dance again with him in heaven, and by his children: Joe, George, Pat (John) Webb, Mary (Brad) Jensen, Rose (Curt) Olejnicak, and Jeff (Barb) Reiswig. Also survived by the mother of his children. Susan Kimm, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Dad was the last leaf on the tree of nine children born to Alberta Brousseau and Jean-Baptiste Layeux. He was a decorated soldier in World War II and served in the 116th Infantry in Germany. Dad loved ballroom dancing, reading and racing homing pigeons. He worked as a machinist for Continental Machines in Savage. His constant humor & love of people will be missed by all that knew him. We're sure that Fred Astaire has some serious competition on those golden streets. We look forward to the day we will see you again with all our love!
