Dr. Conrad J. Holmberg

Holmberg Dr. Conrad J. Holmberg, age 99, passed away 2/9/2003 in Sun City West, AZ. He was born 3/14/1903 in Moline, IL, the son of Rev. Karl and Matilda Holmberg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy; daughter, Kristina and his son, Peter. He was a medical doctor in private practice for 32 years and a clinical professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Served in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Sun City West, AZ, Hennepin County Medical Society, Minnesota State Medical Association. He was a 60-year member of the American Medical Association, Minneapolis Academy of Medicine, Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology/Otolaryngology, Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology, American Rhinologic Society, American Council of Otolaryngology. He is survived by a granddaughter, Nissa Jackman; several nieces and nephews, many dear friends. Services will be held 2/20/2003 at 4:00 pm at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 13724 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West, AZ 85375. Services handled by Camino Del Sol Funeral Chapel, Sun City West, AZ, 623-975-6299.
