Barbara L. Rose

Rose Barbara L. Rose, May 5, 1916 - February 11, 2003. Barbara Rose was born in Duluth, Minnesota and spent her childhood in Los Angeles, California. She married Harold Rose in 1936 and moved to Minnesota where they settled in the town of Mahtomedi on White Bear Lake. Barbara and Harold were residents in Mahtomedi for 36 years. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; and her sister, Martha. She is survived by her sister, Jane; daughter, Marcy (Larry); son, Jonathan (Wendy); fourteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. Barbara owned and operated the Barbara Rose Dress Shop in Mahtomedi for many years. She had a flair for style and a zest for life. Services at Mount Zion Temple, 1300 Summit Avenue, 1 PM Friday, February 14th. Reception at the synagogue; private interment. Cullen Crea Hegstrom 715-246-2667
