Laurane M. Cziok

Cziok Laurane M., passed away Feb. 2, 2003 in Mesa, AZ, at the age of 87. Laurane was born in Lake City, MN, and graduated from Bethany College in Mankato. She was a teacher at Trinity Lutheran School in Sauk Rapids, where she met & married her husband, Arthur Cziok, in 1941. Later she worked for the U.S. Postal Service at the main post office in Mpls. She retired in 1976 after 24 years of service. Arthur died in 1977. Laurane is survived by her son, Allen, Mesa, AZ; daughters, Sharon, Springfield, VA, and Carol Krueger, Mpls; son, Curtis, Fargo, ND; 4 grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled on Sat, Feb 15 at 1 PM at Faith Lutheran Church, 3430 E. 51st St, Mpls. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Faith Lutheran Church or the Minneapolis Heart Institute.
