Mengelkoch Margaret E. Mengelkoch, born Feb. 4, 1925 to Frank and Kate Seelen in Little Falls, MN before her passing at Lynwood Care Center in Fridley Feb 7, 2003. She spent most of her years in the Mpls area. During their retirement years, Marge and Al took refuge at their lake home just outside Brainerd, MN. The last few years of her life she returned to Little Falls, MN. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alfred; son, James Bishop; grandson, Gary, and brother, Shorty. Survived by daughters Sharon Bishop, Anoka, Judy (Stephen) Pitts, Hillsboro, IL, Peggy (Bobby) Belleavoine, Coon Rapids, Linda (Bob) Pullinsi, Phoenix, AZ; son, Rick (Gail) Mengelkoch, Oak Grove, MN; daughter-in-law, DeEtta Bishop, Surprise, AZ; grandchildren, Jimmie, Tammy (Ray) Julie (Kasper), Tony, Sheila (Rob), Lonny, Angela (Nick), Justin (Cara), Antone, Jesse, Ryan, Jake, Amber, Allison, Matt, Summer, Thor & April; great-grand-children Brandon, Amber, James, Britney, Ashleigh, Abby, Benjamin, K.C., Triston, Tylor, Travis & Natelee; brothers, Arnie (Jo), Nicky, Sam (Laurie) Lloyd (Carol), & Herbie; sisters, Cecelia, Helen, Dee (Artie) Cathy (Donny), Lorraine (Jerry) & Evie (Ron); sister-in-law, Helen; many other family members and friends. Marge lived to help others with her wit, charm and unbridled energy. She was a wizard in the kitchen. She was always ready to comfort with food and to entertain. Her passions included cooking, fishing, gardening, 500, poker games and an occasional date with any casino. Marge was the best professional server in the City of Mpls for many years. Funeral Monday 10:15 AM from Gearty- Delmore Chapel of Plymouth, 37th Ave. N and Vicksburg Lane and Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM at the Church of St Thomas the Apostle, 20000 Cty Rd 10, Corcoran. Interment church cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 3-7 PM, with 5 PM Rosary at: Gearty-Delmore Plymouth 763-553-1411
