Josephine Jakala

Jakala, Josephine Age 95, of Robbinsdale. Aunt Jo passed away peacefully on July 22, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her parents, Albert and Victoria Fuja; brother, John Fuja Sr.; sisters, Anne Garbacz, and Angeline Veber; brothers-in-law, John and Edward Jakala; sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Rita Jakala; nieces, Lorraine Swiatek and Anita Jarosz; nephew, Albert Garbacz. Survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, great-great nieces & nephews. Born in Chicago on Nov. 25, 1918, Aunt Jo was a friend to many and dedicated church and community volunteer. Her spunk and determination inspired all those she met. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday, July 28 at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 4087 W. Broadway Ave., Robbinsdale. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope. Visitation at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel, 39th Ave. N. and W. Broadway, Robbinsdale, 6-8 PM Sunday, with Prayers at 7, and also Monday 9-10 AM at church.
