Rudd, Walter K. (Wally) Age 89, of Arden Hills, died peacefully on July 20, 2014. Wally was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 59 yrs., Lois; sons, Raymond and Walter/Scott; daughters, Pamela, and Shelley; 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Wally is a WWII Veteran of the United States Navy. He has been a lifelong volunteer and public servant. He retired from the University of MN and served as Chief of Police in Circle Pines/Lexington. He was an employee of the Metropolitan Stadium, formerly located in Bloomington. He volunteered for many church and community functions. He has been a good friend to many and will be greatly missed by all. Wally was an avid fisherman, golfer, and gardener. He enjoyed many hobbies and activities throughout his lifetime. A devoted member of North Heights Lutheran Church and faithful follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. A visitation will be held Thursday, 24 from 3:30 to 7:30 PM at BRADSHAW, 4600 Green- haven Drive at Hwy 96 (one mile west of 35E), White Bear. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 25 at 11:00 AM at NORTH HEIGHTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2701 Rice St., Roseville. A lunch will be served following the service followed by interment at Morningside Memorial Gardens, 11800 University Ave. NW, Blaine at 2:00 PM. Memorials to family are welcome & appreciated.
