Survived by loving wife, Bernadette Olmstead; children, Julie Olivine Olmstead, Gerri Chappuis (Frank), Judy Mesjak (Ted), Tom Olmstead (Dottie); 13 grandchildren, Debs, Mike, John, Jeni, Elizabeth, Margaret, Katie, Amy, Sean, Jeremy, David, Matthew, Theresa; and 16 great-grand-children. Active member of St. Bridget Parish for over 50 years. Long-term member of the Dominican Laity. Former Knights of Columbus member. Retired JC Penney employee. Mass of Christian Burial Thurs. 10 am at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 3811 Emerson Ave. N., Mpls. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Wed. 6-8 pm at Malone Funeral Home, Fremont and Lowry Aves. N., Mpls., with Rosary at 7 pm. Visitation also hour prior to Mass at Church. Memorials preferred to Franciscan Retreat House.
