Freidson Ruth, age 94. Born and raised in Chisholm and later moved to Duluth. Preceded in death by husbands, Allen Freidson and Isadore Singer; brothers, Charles and George Groman; sister, Jean Lieberman; and son-in-law, Dr. Ivan Schloff; survived by daughers and son-in-law, Sandra Schloff, Patricia & Donald Wolkoff; sister, Hazel Eisenstadt; grandchildren, Lizann Schloff, Adam Wolkoff and wife K.T. Kelley, Susan Schloff and Dina Wolkoff; great grandchildren, Vivian Kelley Wolkoff, Peter Wolkoff and nieces and nephews. Ruth was active in the American Red Cross, past president of the National Council of Jewish Women-Duluth, past president of Duluth Contract Bridge Assoc. She was a member of Hadassah and an avid golfer. Ruth was a very intelligent woman with a great sense of humor and a strong spirit, she was forever young. The family would like to thank the countless friends and care givers, who spent so much time with Ruth, including the Wellington, Shepard Park nurses, Fairview Home Health Aides and Health East Hospice. Funeral services TUESDAY 1:30pm TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave S.. In lieu of flowers her family prefers memorials to St. Paul Jewish Family Services, the Chisholm Foundation or Temple Israel.
