Rev. David Arthur Roney

Roney Rev. David Arthur Roney died on Monday, January 27, 2003 at the age of 82. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 3, 2003, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm, MN at 11:00 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at the San Lucas Toliman Church in Guatemala, with burial in the Church cemetery. Father Roney was born January 3, 1921 and was ordained at the St. Paul Cathedral on August 18, 1945. He entered the Diocese of New Ulm in 1957. He retired from active ministry on June 16, 1993 and had been living in San Lucas Toliman in Guatemala since 1994.
