Virginia A. Strom

Strom Virginia A., age 89 of Roseville, formerly of Two Harbors, died peacefully Jan. 28 surrounded by her loving family. Born March 21, 1913. Virginia was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be missed greatly. She bore with courage and grace her illness and fought valiantly to keep her independence to the end. She did it! Preceded in death by her loving husband, Wallace; and infant son, Donald Wallace. Survived by daughters & sons-in-law, Gini and Paul Beecroft and Judith Strom and Lee Kaplan; granddaughter, Beth (Bob) Doce; grandson, Michael (Annikka) Erickson; great-grandchildren, Bryanna, Leif, Mari, Hallie and Justin; and faithful and much loved companion, Shadow. Member of the United Church of Two Harbors, former Eastern Star member and Job's Daughter guardian. For many years Virginia taught ballet, tap dancing and baton in Two Harbors. Private family services. Memorials preferred to St. Paul Feline Rescue, the St. Croix Animal Shelter, Hubert Humphrey Cancer Center, or the United Church of Two Harbors.
