Hansen, Duane Christian age 73, of St. Michael, passed away surrounded by family and friends on July 16, 2014. He courageously faced cancer with grace and dignity. Preceded in death by parents, Carl "Bill" and Doris; brother, Bill. Survived by and will be deeply missed by wife of 42 years, Diane; brother, Byron from South Carolina; daughter, Linda Hall; son, John Jacobson; 5 grandchildren; great-grand-children; special nieces and nephew, Heather, Kristen, Grant; special friends, Dennis, Lois and Jenny Schultz, and Chuck and Carol Blesener; and family and friends. Duane was a '59 graduate of Minneapolis Central High School. Duane was a member of Local 292 IBEW for 43 years, 27 of those years were spent with the City of Minneapolis Dept. of Traffic Engineering. Memorials preferred to American Cancer Society or North Residential Hospice, 4201 58th Ave. N, Brooklyn Center 55429.
