Flint W.G. ``Gene'', age 99, of Mpls. Born November 7 1902, passed away Feb. 2, 2002. Preceded in death by his mother, Jane. Survived by special friend, Merle BroadKast; cousins, Edward Fyfe, Wilma Fyfe-Barnett & Eleanor Fyfe-Behrens. Gene was a graduate of Boone High School, Iowa, and the University of Iowa. Retired credit manager for Standard Oil and accountant for Tisdel Standard. He was a member of Lake Harriet Masonic Lodge #277 for 44 years, the Scottish Rite and Zuhrah Shrine. ``Gene called the shots to the end.'' Private interment Lakewood Cemetery.
