Loran D. Gruman

Gruman, Loran D. "Gru" Retired 35 year Captain for NWA Age 74, of Apple Valley, passed away on July 12, 2014 after a 9 year struggle with a brain tumor. Gru is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Gruman. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 yrs., Lucie "Pixie"; mother, Norma Gruman; sister, Nan Brown; children, Keith (Catrina), Greg (Carrie), Linda (Mark); grandchildren Layne, Katie, Max, Allie, Ellie, Megan Annie, Chloe, Sophie, and Kendra. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday, July 26, 2014 at River Hills United Methodist Church, 11100 River Hills Dr., Burnsville with visitation 1 hour prior to the ser-vice. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery Mon., July 28 at 11:30 AM. Memorials will be donated to River Hills United Methodist Church and Twin Cities Bridge Center.
