O'Connor Edward E. (OK'E), age 85, of Edina, formerly of St. Cloud, on January 25, 2003. Born 1917, Melrose, MN to Edward M. and Katherine O'Connor. Moved to Minneapolis, MN and attended Incarnation Church and School. Graduated from Central High in 1939. Served in World War II in the United States Army Air Force. Following discharge, he served as Captain in the United States Army Reserve until retirement in 1970. Worked for 30 years for the Great Northern/Burlington Northern Railroad in St. Cloud, MN and retired as Yard Master. Married in 1949 to Bernadette Trebtoske Isaacson. Survived by wife, Bernadette; children, Kelly Edward, Terrance Edward, Thomas Edward, Laurie O'Connor, and Karen Monroe; grandchildren, Philip and Robert Monroe, Nicholas, Casey Edward, Ryann O'Connor and Mandelyn Ricci; great-grandchild, Marianne Monroe; sisters, Ione Hunt, June Allen, Phyllis Sisson; and brother, Harold O'Connor. Preceded in death by sisters, Gretchen Burman, Neoma Novetske, Leola Granbo and Frances Martin; brothers, Fabian, Myrl and Arlo O'Connor. Member of Burlington Northern Veterans Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Reserve Officers Associatioin, and Charter member of St. Cloud Granite City Toastmasters. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, 10:30 AM at the Church of the Annuniciation, 509 W. 54th, Mpls., with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
