Buckingham Randall Warren Buckingham died suddenly of natural causes February 1, 2004, in Plymouth, MN. Born December 5, 1956, to Donald Warren and Dorothy Swallow Buckingham, in Minneapolis, MN. Survived by parents; sister, Cynthia (James Bach) and nieces, Alissa and Kristina, Salt Lake City, UT; brothers, Douglas (Linda), Oxnard, CA, and Timothy and niece Mary, Milwaukee, WI; maternal grandmother, Irene Swallow, Duluth, MN; several aunts, uncles, and cousins in Minnesota, Georgia, Iowa, South Dakota, and Wisconsin; and by many loving friends and coworkers. Graduated from Park Center High School in 1975; attended North Hennepin State College, University of Minnesota, and Dunwoody Institute (electrician). Employed as a technician at various medical service companies, including the past several years at Midwest Medical Corp. Randy ("Buck") was a trusted, loving, caring and helpful son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin, and friend. He was always willing and happy to help family, associates, and friends in many ways, including using his amazing knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and computer systems. He always wanted to "do it right." He had an infectious laugh, a strong sense of justice, an unforgettable bear hug, and a heart as big as the great outdoors, though it failed him in the end. He enjoyed the company of family and friends, a good political discussion, projects at the Gull Lake cabin, and helping patients. Memorial service Tuesday, February 10, 7 pm, at Evans Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd (763-533-3000). Visitation starting at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Heart Association, Salvation Army, or a charity of your choice.
