Evelyn Drogseth

Drogseth Evelyn, age 81, of Mpls, died at the Nile Health Care facility on January 24. The beloved wife of Al Drogseth for 61 years. The mother of 2 sons, Meredith Drogseth of Richfield, MN and Thomas Drogseth (and his wife, Carrie) of Burnsville and the loving grandmother of 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth Drogseth of Eagan, MN and Justin Drogseth, a student at Minnesota State University at Mankato. She is also survived by a brother, Ardeen Erickson of Kasson, MN; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends loved Evelyn for her loving concern for each of them. She was a talented lady who created many lovely craft gifts for friends and relatives and was known for her hospitality. She hosted many wedding showers for nieces/nephews and birthday parties for other friends and relatives. Preceding her in death were her parents, Bertha and John Erickson; her grandmother, Maria Larson who raised Evelyn and her young brothers after her parents died of TB and her brothers, Raymond, Floyd and Eric. Funeral will be Monday at 11 am at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church on 24th & Chicago Av. S., Mpls with public visitation from 10-11 am just prior to the service.
