Greenberg Emerson P., age 80, passed away January 20 after a brief illness. Preceded in death by parents, Morris & Harriet Greenberg and foster brother, Paul Scheffer. Survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Bayle; son, William (Arlen Roffman), Belmont, MA and sons, Michael (Barbara) and Charles of Mpls; grandchildren, Alissa Greenberg of Belmont, MA, Norman and Tom Greenberg of Mpls; brother, Sheldon of Mpls. Born in Litchfield, MN, raised in Mpls. Graduate of University of MN School of Industrial Relations and a World War II veteran, serving in Eisenhower's headquarters in Europe. Emerson retired as Vice President of Real Estate and Facilities for Gelco Corp. in 1990. Em was an avid nature enthusiast and gardener who had the uncanny ability to bring a smile to the faces of his countless friends. His indomitable spirit and sunny personality were legendary and will be greatly missed. He was a lifetime member of Temple Israel.
