Sass Edward C. Sass, age 98 of North Ridge Care Center, formerly of Brooklyn Center, passed away peacefully on 1/20/04. His friendly smile and wit will be missed by all. Preceded in death by parents, Helmuth & Emma; wife, Elaine; son & daughter-in-law, Donald & Janis; granddaughter, Susan Hable Bliss; great-grandson, Nicholas Hable; and brother, Herman Sass. Survived by daughter, Pearl (George) Hable; grandchildren, Thomas (Janet) Sass, Robert (Katherine) Sass, Diane (Kurt) Moulzolf, Russell (Michele) Hable, Peter (Joan) Bliss; great- grandchildren, Vickie, Andrew, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Laura, and Christina Sass, Krystyne and Shannon Hable, Katie Kostie, Joseph Moulzolf, Jared, Emily, and Lauren Bliss; sister, Eleanor (Carl) Larson; sister-in-law, Lydia Dixon; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Ed was a member of Christ English Lutheran Church, Plymouth Lodge #160, Scottish Rite and Robbinsdale Chapter Eastern Star. He graduated from Dunwoody in 1926 and was a printer for many years and worked for the Robbinsdale school system. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at North Ridge Care Center for all the love and excellent care. Memorials preferred to donor's choice. Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery.
