Welles Leslie Griggs

Griggs Welles Leslie, age 90, of Duluth, died Saturday, Jan 18, 2003, in her home. She was appointed by Gov Orville Freeman to the Board of Directors of the National Safety Council and its first Home Safety Chair. Surviving are five sons including George (Maren) Welles III of Minnetonka and two daughters; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service Thursday 2 PM in Pilgrim-Congregational Church, Duluth, with arrangements by Bell Brothers, 218-624-5745
