Cole, Herbert Huston Age 95 of Bloomington, passed away on Nov. 20, 2017 surrounded by his loving children. He was born Nov. 2, 1922 on the family farm in Melzo, MO, the youngest of 11 children. A native of St. Louis, MO, he spent the last 6 years in MN with his eldest daughter. He served in the army in WWII and received a purple heart for an injury while in combat in Okinawa. He spent over 25 years in Lady Lake, FL enjoying retirement. An avid golfer and bowler all of his life, his biggest love was the St. Louis Cardinals. Survived by children, Tom (Barbara) Cole, Terri (John) Hill, Mari (Jerry) Lentini; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A special thanks to the VA Hospital, clinics, their medical team & nursing staff for his care. The family also wishes to thank AseraCare for their compassionate love & hospice care.
