Heffernan, John D. "Jack" age 85, of Edina, MN passed away surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. John was a graduate of John Carroll University, Cleveland, Ohio, First Lt. in the U.S. Army and a representative for Haggar Clothing for 31 years. Survived by wife of 59 years, Caral; daughters, Grace (Christopher) Cook, Meg (Dan) Sherman; grandchildren, Jack, Joey and Natalie Cook, Jake, Katie, Annie and Bridget Sherman; sisters, Pat Hunter and Denise (Jim) Cullinan; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, Nov. 19 from 4-7 PM at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Nov. 20, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church at 11 AM, with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
