Scott Hugh Peters

Peters, Scott Hugh age 62, of Minnetonka, Minnesota died on November 12, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Scott is preceded in death by father Robert Peters, and survived by mother, Barbara Peters, daughters Jasmine (18) and Chloe (15), sister Jodie McCann, brother Blaine Peters (Andrea), and sister Leslie Peters, as well as many other relatives and friends. Scott was born on March 12, 1955 in Lansing, Michigan. Scott moved to Minneapolis at the age of 18 and began working in the local theater scene. He spent 20 years of his career in technical theater as a carpenter, and set, lighting, and sound designer. Later he began working for the union as a stage hand. The final third of his career, he worked as a light board operator and electrician for the Minnesota Orchestra. Scott was an adoring father, beloved son and brother, and magnificent friend. In accordance with Scott's wishes, there will be no formal services. Friends and loved ones are invited to an informal open house at Scott's home on Saturday, November 18th from 1:00pm to 3:30pm.
